Brief Description: This residential design focuses on a fluid transition between covered, semi-covered, and open spaces, achieved through an interior patio that acts as a central element in the spatial organization. The patio, located at the heart of the house, is semi-covered, offering a perfect balance between sheltered and exposed areas, serving as a natural bridge between the interior and exterior. This space not only functions as a transition zone but also as a place for rest and contemplation.
The house's main openness is directed inward, creating an introspective atmosphere that safeguards the residents' privacy. However, there is also a visual connection to the exterior, allowing for the enjoyment of views without compromising the privacy of daily activities. This setup transforms the interior experience into a protected and lived-in space, with strategic elements that visually connect the exterior with the interior.
The social area, designed as an open concept, presents a seamless space where daily activities flow without physical barriers, fostering interaction among the inhabitants. The "L" shaped layout guides circulation and emphasizes the connection between private and social areas through a staircase placed at a strategic point. This staircase becomes the link between the ground floor, where social activities take place, and the upper floor, designed exclusively for the master bedroom.
The second floor is entirely dedicated to the master bedroom, a private and exclusive retreat that allows for complete disconnection from the rest of the house. This clear separation between social and private areas ensures the home meets the needs of both privacy and rest.
