Multifamily
Contemporary Tropical Architecture
2026
Brief Description: This multifamily cluster housing project proposes a contemporary architectural approach designed for Florida’s climate and lifestyle, while reinterpreting key principles of Latin American architecture: courtyards, shade, ventilation, honest materiality, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living.
The development is organized around a central courtyard and water features, creating a cooler, more open, and community-oriented residential experience.
Each unit is arranged across three levels: the ground floor contains the social areas — living room, dining room, kitchen, and garage; the second floor houses the private bedroom areas; and the third floor introduces open terraces designed for outdoor living. Double-height spaces enhance natural light, spatial openness, and visual connection between levels.
The result is a modern, tropical, and sophisticated residential proposal where architecture is not only about form, but about climate, landscape, identity, and the way people live.
